PEX yarn is manufactured by air texturing of olefin material. This process gives natural look, volume and soft touch to the synthetic yarn.

APPLICATIONS

PEX is produced in hundreds of colors and various counts. In addition new colors are done upon request.

USAGE

– Masterbatches with high color fastness are used and PEX’s Color fastnesses are 6+ grades according to ISO 105 B02 test, so all PEX products exceedingly meet the needs of indoor conditions.

– Olefin has very low moisture absorption due to its structure.

– It is stain resistant due to its molecular structure.

– FRole is the flame retardant version of PEX and all flame retardant products can be produced under the brand name FRole.

– PEX yarn is suitable for use as weft and warp in woven fabrics. Fabrics made from PEX yarns are made even softer to the touch when processed on a needle punching machine. Pilling and martindale test results all pass. The “Wyzenbeek etching method” is recommended because of its olefin structure.

– Since olefin melts at temperatures above 150°C, the temperature should not exceed 130°C during the finishing process. exceeded, the fabric may become stiff. Although other fibers may be present in the fabric, the finish should not exceed olefin.
